Rss Readers and Feeds……

I’m sure most of you know about blogs…. do you know how to use them to your advantage? Do you have many blogs that you enjoy going back to time and time again and are constantly searching through your bookmarks for that link? Well my best suggestion is to get a blog reader. There are many many out there, however since I am a google fan as well as using gmail for my mail servers, I have found that the google reader is one of the best and easiest to use out there. I have tried several throughout the years and find some of them to just be overly complicated as well as not integrating well with my style of surfing and writing emails. I want SIMPLE, I don’t want to have to think too much when I want to check out a blog. All I want is to see if there have been any updates and then maybe see a quick preview of it in another window or frame to see if it’s something worth even clicking open any further.

When I come upon a new blog, and want to make sure to add it to my list, all I have to do is click on the little icon in my address bar and it asks me if I want to add it. I click yes and whola, done! Next time I check my blog list it’s there for me to browse and check for updates.

Here is a link to the one that I use:

http://reader.google.com

It is simple, layed out well, setting are still customizable and most of all it meshes perfectly with my browser and other software I’m using.

So if you want to get a great reader this is one to check out. If you have a google accout, you can even set up a blog simply that integrates as well.

Any questions class?
